Partnering with You in the Care of Your Teeth
Our practice offers a wide range of dental services in an effort to help our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
We would like to partner with you in the care of your teeth and smile by offering information on the services we provide.
Hygiene Therapy
The proverb "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" applies to so many life situations, but perhaps never more than when it comes to your oral health. Regular visits with your Hygienist for therapeutic or preventive treatment are the best way to ensure excellent long-term oral health and receive the latest education in hygiene maintenance. Our Hygiene team will align with you to customize a maintenance schedule based on your personal needs and become your dental coach for lifelong health!
Root Canal Therapy
Three words that have struck fear in the hearts of many for decades! Root canal therapy has improved significantly over the years and is for the most part quite easy and painless today. The procedure allows you to keep your tooth, preventing other teeth from drifting into that space and cause other jaw problems. Our Dentists have invested in up-to-date techniques and equipment that make it possible to treat most root canal therapies right here in our office. Just like any other procedure we offer, we will be happy to describe the process, what you can expect, and the long-term benefits you can enjoy.
Implants
Implants are the most exciting development in dentistry to come along in the last few decades! A combination of engineering and biologic technology allows us to fill single, or multiple spaces in your mouth with a solution that is permanently anchored. Years of progress in this area of dentistry have resulted in extremely high success rates in healthy individuals. We are delighted to offer implants as the optimum treatment option when replacing missing teeth. Come see us and we'll let you know if you are a good candidate for this procedure.
Improving Your Smile
Smiles are the universal language of kindness, warmth, approachability and love. They are our unique calling card, a window to our emotions and one of our most powerful ways to make a great impression.
While the smile you were born with is uniquely beautiful, enhancements can be made if there are concerns that cause you to hold back from fully showcasing it.
Tooth whitening is a very safe and easy way to brighten the shade of your smile. Darker permanent stains, minor discrepancies in the size or shape of your teeth, and even slight misalignments can be easily corrected with bonding or porcelain veneer techniques.
Your dream smile is waiting! We are happy to share your dream by providing a smile assessment at your next visit if you are interested.
Dentistry for Children
We often are asked: "What is the best age for a child's initial visit?". Children are VIP's in our practice and as such, we want your child's first experience to be as positive as possible. We love to encourage parents to bring them along for a simple "ride in the chair" around the age of two and a half to three. This complimentary visit sets the tone and familiarizes your child with the things they will see the when they come in for their "check-up" appointment. To complete this positive first experience, your child will also be introduced to our "prize box"; a popular ending to every visit! Of course, if there are otherwise any concerns prior to this age, we will gladly see your child sooner and determine if any earlier intervention is appropriate.
Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD)
There are many levels of temporomandibular disorders, ranging from the simple to complex. Early intervention, with the use of splints and other forms of adjustments, can assist in managing TM disorders. Due to the extreme complexity of the temporomandibular joint, a cure is difficult when trauma, deterioration or other issues are involved. Therapy to manage the problem and reduce symptoms by 70% is the realistic goal. A detailed and complex assessment is required to diagnose the causes and formulate a path of treatment. We will always recommend the most conservative approach that provides the best chance of helping you manage this disorder.
